When we bought the coffeehouse in 2012, we tried just about every brand of chai on the market but (no offense) were just never completely happy with them. Eventually, we threw our hands up (in the typical entrepreneurial fashion) and said, “We’ll just make it ourselves.”
And so we did.
And it’s delicious.
Not too sweet. Spicy enough to cut through whatever milk it’s paired with.
It feels like a cozy sweater when served warm and an outdoor summer brunch when iced.
ANYWAY. We have a limited supply of these bottles for sale so you can make some of your favorite coffeeshop drinks at home. We recommend one part chai to two parts milk. We can provide more precise measurements if you have a food scale. This 32oz. bottle will make about 10 small chai lattes. Please keep refrigerated.
